Following initial groundwork in the Spanaway area by Rev. Harold Adix in 1961, “Package Mission #55” was established in Spanaway. Funds were made available from the ALC along with other monies to purchase property and build a parsonage and church. Five acres were purchased in the fall of 1961 and Rev. John L.
